I find this hilarious. I love Finnish design, the Finns are creative, and this Rocking Chair Get-Together links design to creativeness. I think.
ROCKING CHAIR GET-TOGETHER 30 JUNE
The open urban event, Rocking Chair Get-Together, will be organised in summer 2012 in Esplanadi Park. This is a feel-good event that allows people to rock into relaxation in the midst of all the hustle and bustle. Companies can take part in the event's charity campaign by claiming their own rocking chair in which people can rock away during the event after which the chair will make its way to the charity chosen by the benefactors.

I love Finnish rocking chairs that rock all the way back. Does anyone know where I can buy one here in the good ol' US of A? Who makes them in Finland? Who do I call?

DeleteI have no idea if you can buy one in the US or if there's shipping there from all the Finnish companies. If you're really interested, still, I can try and call one of these companies to find out, or maybe you can try to send email to different companies?
