It's light day and night here in Finland these days. The sun never actually sets - these two photos were taken after 4 am!
We celebrated Midsummer over the weekend. That means big parties, bbq, rock festivals and friends to most Finns, but we just had barbeque with the family. It was nice, too, but a bit different to what it was as a teenager ;)
Midsummer, or juhannus as we call it, is the most profitable weekend in my hometown for the shopkeepers! And, of course, the Finnish flags are seen everywhere.
